QUIZ NIGHT – Fundraiser for GAMBIA Groombridge Village Hall 7.15pm

A fun Quiz Night in aid of Gambia, hosted by Mel Byford as Quiz Master/Mistress!

A selection of quiz topics and rounds on offer with a ploughman’s style supper, including homemade bakes, provided for the ticket price of £15 per person.
Teams of 8 welcome or let us know and we can find a team for you to join.

The event is being organised by 3 young people from the village, Alex, Isabelle and Rowena who all attend Beacon Sixth Form College. In December ’24 they will be visiting Gambia. The focus of the trip is to work with their college’s African partner charity United Purpose and directly offer financial support to projects in need within the rural communities in Gambia. All the money they raise at the Quiz night will be donated to projects the trip will visit. This annual trip has been run for over 15 years and has made a difference to the lives of those living in rural Gambia.
