Covid-19: Coordinated support for the parish
The Parish Council continues to work closely with various groups and organisations to support those in need across the parish. We are working with volunteers in our 4 main settlements of Blackham, Groombridge, St John’s Crowborough and Withyham. If you need assistance, please contact us and we will connect you.
If you, or someone you know, needs help –
Wealden District Council has set up a Covid 19 Community Hub for vulnerable people who need support to allow them to stay at home. Please register by calling 01323 443322 or registering for the Community Hub online.
The latest information from Wealden District Council about Covid-19 can be found on Wealden’s website.
If you need help and are unsure who to speak to, Withyham Parish Council is here to help.
If you are unable to access the above support or are concerned, or wish to speak with us on any other matter, please do contact us.
Please ensure that you are following the current rules set out by the government.
The Parish Council is aware that these are difficult times for many and have therefore made changes to the following in order to protect both staff and residents wherever possible.
Withyham Parish Council and Committee meetings currently take place at Groombridge Village Hall (New Hall), Station Road, Groombridge, TN3 9QR.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend meetings and there is a 10-minute opportunity for members of the public to address the Council. Meetings must operate within Covid guidelines. This limits us to the number of people that we can have present at meetings. In order to manage this we request that those who wish to attend first contact the Clerk email@example.com by the morning of the meeting to assist in confirming numbers.
If you wish to attend a Planning Committee meeting please read and follow our Guidance for members of the public wishing to view/speak at a Withyham Parish Council Planning meeting.
Due to the current pandemic the Parish office is closed to members of the public.
To contact the Parish office please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01892 864 557, or fill in the contact us form.
